Appointment Reservations 

Due to our limited availability, we want to give all our customers an equal chance to book with us.  To book an appointment reservation clients have 2 options:   

1.    Prepaid full appointment cost paid upfront. Refunds for prepaid services are handled on a case-by-case basis. 

2.   All other appointments require a valid/current credit/debit card placed on file and pay a non-refundable/transferable booking retainer fee at the time of booking.  All appointments are booked via our online booking platform Janerunsclinics.

Booking Fees

Vanity Lab requires clients to pay a booking fee to secure all appointments. The booking fee will be applied towards the service booked.  Booking fees are non-refundable / non-transferable.

  

* If you must cancel your appointment the booking fee will not be refunded.

 

* If you need to reschedule your appointment a new booking fee will be assessed.  Booking fees are non-transferable between appointments.

Tardiness: Late Arrivals

VLS does allow for a 10 minute grace period for all appointments, however, but please be mindful that that time is deducted from your service time which will end at the scheduled time so we are not late for the client following you. 

 

Past your 10-minute grace?  If you're past 10 minute grace period, we consider that as a No Show,  your appointment will be canceled and the balance of your service will be charged. A new appointment will be required and another non-refundable/transferable booking retainer fee will be required.

 

Reschedules:

Reschedules are allowed, however, you must reschedule at least 24 hours in advance of your service to avoid being charged 100% balance due of the service. Be mindful booking fees are non-refundable and do not transfer to the new date/time.  To reschedule your appointment use your Account page link on your confirmation email and CANCEL the appointment do not use the RESCHEDULE option. Once the original appointment is canceled, go in and booked a completely new appointment. 

Cancellations 

A 24hr cancellation policy is strictly enforced. Appointment reminder notifications are sent (via text and email) to clients 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time.  This is the time to cancel your appointment.  If you need a different date and/or time please book a new appointment after canceling and note that a new booking fee will be required. Booking fees are not refundable or transfer between appointments.

 

Same day no-shows, cancellations, and reschedules will be charged full balance amount of service(s) booked.  If the payment method declines client will be required to pay the amount due before booking future appointments with Vanity Lab Skintique or future bookings will not be allowed. No-Shows will be banned from booking with Vanity Lab Skintique. 

Intake Forms

Upon booking an appointment with Vanity Lab Skintique, clients will need to complete and sign appropriate consents, contracts, and/or forms before we can commence services. All documents are completed as a step within the online booking experience and must be completed when booking appointments.

 

Spa Guest Under the Age of 18

In order to ensure a safe, relaxing environment for all of our guests, we ask that our clients abide by the following policies:

All clients below the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the duration of their treatment  Written permission for all services will be required for all clients under 18 years of age. 

3rd party Voucher Clients

3rd party voucher (ie Groupon, Living Social, etc) purchasers please be advised all my policies, terms, and conditions does apply to your purchases as well.  Note: NO CALL NO SHOW clients with vouchers holders.. vouchers will be REDEEM IN FULL.  3rd party vouchers will be honored for New Clients Only.  PLEASE DO NOT REPEAT PURCHASE 3RD PARTY VOUCHERS.  The incentive is there to do business with VLS for the 1st time not for continuous bargain shopping. If you repeat purchase 3rd party voucher you will be directed to work with 3rd party vendor to transfer to another provider.​  Service Satisfaction: If you are not completely satisfied with your service, please contact us to discuss your experience at info@ketavalte.com.

 

Products Returns / Refund Policy

Product purchases are non-refundable due to sanitation purposes.

 

Pre-paid Services Refunds are issued on a case by case basis. Refunds on prepaid services where services have not been rendered are NOT GUARANTEED. Please contact Vanity Lab Skintique to discuss.

 

Personal Property/Valuables

Vanity Lab Skintique is a private, boutique-style studio and we want to create an atmosphere that allows all our clients to escape from the world outside. In consideration of others, please refrain from talking on your cell phone inside the studio. All cell phones must be in silent mode or turned off while at Vanity Lab Skintique.  Vanity Lab Skintique is not responsible for lost and/or stolen belongings. We recommend that you keep your valuables with you at all times or leave them at home.

 

Medical Conditions and Allergies

When scheduling your treatment, please let us know if you have any physical ailments, medical conditions, or allergies. Our practitioner should also be notified if you are pregnant, have high blood pressure, a heart condition, or any other medical condition. Our staff will personalize your treatment to meet any special needs or accommodations you may require. Vanity Lab Skintique Beauty practitioner(s) cannot work on clients with open wounds, abrasions, or other skin conditions. If you have any questions about a spa treatment and your health, please consult a doctor.

Gratuity Policy

As a Spa Guest, we know you want to show appreciation for the quality service provided

by Vanity Lab Skintique practitioners. Gratuities at Vanity Lab Skintique average between 18 and 22 percent of the treatment price, but we always respect your tipping decisions. You may give your practitioner a tip in Cash or Credit/Debit Card via our Janerunsclinics booking app.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Cash or our Online Booking POS (Janerunsclinics).  We do not accept payments via Zelle, CashApp, Venmo or any other outside payment/financial applications.

Tips for a Great Spa Experience

 

How should I prep for a wax?

 

Pre-Waxing Tips

• Do not shave or wax for at least 3 to 4 weeks prior to your treatment.

• Female clients may have heightened sensitivity during the week prior to or during menstruation.

• Limit your caffeine intake the day of your waxing service. Caffeine stimulates the nervous system

and increases sensitivity.

 

Before your wax, please DO NOT USE....

• Retin-A/Renova for at least 30 days. • Use Accutane for at least one year. • Use peels

(glycolic, AHA, etcetera) or dermabrasion on the area for at least 24 hours.

• Consume excessive amounts of alcohol or sunbathe for at least 48 hours.

• Use self-tanners, exfoliants or moisturizers the day of the service – they can cause irritations to the

sensitive hair follicles that are open after waxing.

 

What about after I get waxed?

• Minimize skin irritation by applying aloe vera or hydrocortisone cream to the treated area.

• You may wash the waxed area, but refrain from using harsh cleansers or creams for 24 – 48

hours.

• Stay away from hot tubs, hot showers, hot baths, sunbathing and tanning for at least 24 – 48

hours.

• Prevent ingrown hairs by avoiding exfoliation for 2 – 3 days and then exfoliating the area regularly.

• Avoid shaving in between waxing treatments.

Peels can have a transformative effect on your skin, but need the right preparation. If you are interested in receiving a peel, please email to set up a skin analysis/consultation with our licensed skin care professional prior to reserving a time for your peel. This analysis will ensure whether or not you are a candidate for the peel process.

Lash Service Policies

Client's eyelashes are to be completely cleansed and product free at time of any lash service (I.e lash extensions, lash lift, tint, etc). If lashes have any form of residue or product build up the Lash Bath service will be REQUIRED (and the fee will be applied).
